Arafura Bluewater Charters is a well established local company that has been operating in Darwin from Cullen Bay for over 13 years. We specialize in bluewater reef and game fishing charters, catering for local, interstate and international fishing enthusiasts on offshore fishing charters. Due to our commitment and excellent service a large proportion of our business is repeat business. We strive to deliver the fishing experience of a lifetime! Our crew are local avid fishermen who are passionate about their work . They hold current Master 5 med 3, Master 5 med 2, coxswain and senior first aid certificates as per survey requirements. Over the past years all crew members have been awarded many super deed certificates of appreciation through Tourism Top End for their outstanding service and hospitality.

1/2 Day (5 hour) Offshore Fishing Charters Price $149pp child under 12 yrs $120 This price includes a 5 hour offshore reef and game fishing charter. Fishing 20 nautical miles offshore...departing Cullen Bay Ferry Terminal at approx 6am, 12pm and sunset/night charters 4.30pm.
Full Day Offshore Bluewater Charter Price $240pp This price includes a full day reef and game fishing up to 40 nautical miles...departing Cullen Bay Ferry Terminal at 6am and returning 3.30pm.
Extended Full Day Charter Price $350pp or $4500.00 full boat charter (maximum 14 persons) This charter is an excellent opportunity for the extra keen fisho to fish areas usually only fished on overnight or extended charters. Fishing is excellent with the added addition of some nice red emperor, coral trout and other species to your catch. Price includes an extended day reef and game fishing Point Blaze , the Perron Islands and surrounding reefs….departing Cullen Bay Ferry Terminal at 6am and returning 8.30pm.
Owner operator Steve Compain has over 26 years experience fishing the NT waters and searched the nation for the perfect NT bluewater vessel. He was instantly impressed with Badenach Enterprise’s vessels. George Badenach, a perfectionist and long time cray fisherman built the custom made vessels in Smithton Tasmania. Over the past 3 years George has built 2 quality vessels for Arafura Bluewater Charters, the Wai Tui and the Wai Adi. They are safe, fast, modern and very comfortable for day and extended charters. The third vessel is Tere Tiki and although not a Badenach vessel is a favorite for many. All vessels are in NT survey, regularly maintained and in excellent condition.
Your 3 day fishing adventure includes daily - a delicious cooked breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and coral trout or red emperor will definitely be on the menu for dinner!! Tea, coffee and ice water are also provided. BYO alcohol. Experience some of Darwin's excellent fishing action from Point Blaze, and continuing down the coast fishing Perron Islands and surrounding reefs. At night you will be fishing the outer reefs also targeting some fresh squid to be cooked for a delicious evening snack. Fish till your hearts content and then grab some hard earned rest to be ready for the following days fishing.
