The charm of Clover Cottage, with its cottage gardens, gnarled old trees and misty river valley setting provides an aura of romance and tranquillity of a bygone era. The four superbly built and appointed limestone cottages offer wood fires, spas and stunning views.

Historic Clover Cottage Country Retreat, built in 1875, is a pioneer homestead of the Southern Forests region between Pemberton and Manjimup, Western Australia. The farm is nestled on the banks of the magnificent Warren River.

The cosy wood fire and private spa make it the perfect place for a romantic getaway. On the large verandah you can relax in a hammock, enjoy a barbecue or dine out, while enjoying the theatre of the bush. Just bring your clothes, food, bottle of wine, favourite CD’s, walking shoes and a good book.
For the energetic, there’s the grass tennis court, or go bush walking down the original pioneer road and discover the historic schoolhouse/church tucked away in the forest valley. For the kids it’s a great farmstay, with friendly donkeys, goats, sheep and chooks to feed.
The trout lake at the foot of your chalet offers the ultimate fishing experience. Down on the river you can paddle upstream in a canoe over long tranquil, tree-lined pools or try your luck with a lure. For the experienced Fly Fisherman there is the trophy lake in an exclusive location off the property. Fly fishing tuition is also available by prior arrangement.
 

Friendly Farm Animals

The friendly farm animals are always popular with our visitors.
Meet Edith and Plonky, the donkeys, Vernon and Walter the goats and observe our Wiltshire sheep which graze and shed their wool at their leisure! And our Sussex hens usually have an egg or two laid for our guests.
