Maritimo Luxury Offshore Cruisers And Motoryachts

The Aussie boat building legend.

Bill Barry-Cotter sometimes jokes that it takes 40 years to build a Maritimo. In all seriousness, he means that it’s the culmination of his lifetime’s work.  A career that’s made him Australia’s most awarded boat builder – and renowned offshore racing champion. In designing the Maritimo, Bill simply created the boat he had always wanted for himself. Having seen the best and worst of thousands of ocean-going vessels, he’s picked the features he admires and added a few of his own. For example, the fully enclosed walk around decks, outdoor island BBQ and beautifully styled timber and stainless steel stairwell have Bill’s fingerprints all over them.

Maritimo New Luxury Motor Yachts.

Shaped by the Environment

About midway between the heavenly Great Barrier Reef and the hellish Tasman Sea is Queensland’s Gold Coast. This is the home of Maritimo, where the craft are appointed with all the mod-cons to be enjoyed in Australia’s northern tropics at the same time as being engineered to withstand the rough seas to the south. With a structural integrity second to none and possibly the cleanest, neatest and best-protected engineering and electrical systems available, some scribes have gone as far to say that the Maritimo range is “over-engineered!”

Genuine long-range cruising

For aficionados’, the Maritimo has a variable deadrise planing hull with engines mounted forward and fuel tanks positioned amid ships. It’s this advanced hull design and weight distribution that provides balance and poise. It also ensures a Maritimo has a soft, smooth ride, stays level when turning, is quicker to plane and offers unrivalled fuel economy. What’s more, the large fuel tanks enable you to travel in excess of 1000 nautical miles on the plane without having to stop and refuel.

Twice the luxury

You’ll pinch yourself to make sure you’re not seeing double!  Two double staterooms, two saloons, two aft decks, two designer-styled heads, two helm stations. You would be hard pressed to find any cruiser with so many luxurious appointments woven seamlessly into their design. And no other cruiser is easier to operate, maintain or enjoy.

For the discerning voyager

From the awesome power of twin Marine Diesels to the swathe of lavish appointments from the water up, everything aboard a Maritimo has been designed with one thing in mind -long-range luxury cruising. In fact, no other cruiser looks, feels or performs like a Maritimo. It simply manages to be both timeless and ahead of its time. It truly is oceans apart.

The New Mustang Cruiser By Maritimo.

The first model to be released under the eye of boat building legend Bill Barry-Cotter is a two-cabin 32 Sports Cruiser.

The three-side enclosed cockpit and entertaining area features a large L-shape lounge that runs along the port side and curves around the transom. A dinette table can convert this lounge into a great day bed. The cockpit includes a forward helm on the starboard side with helm and companion seats. A well-equipped galley is opposite on the port side.

Forward, a companionway leads to the accommodation of a master cabin forward with an island double bed and hanging lockers. A second two-bunk cabin is on the starboard side and the bathroom is on the port side.

The new design builds on the great tradition of the Mustang brand.

We have taken the brand back to its roots. Mustang again stands for great family sports cruisers at a competitive price.

Once in a while, something new comes along that completely re-defines its class. In the world of long-range luxury cruising, that moment has arrived with the launch of the majestic Maritimo 73.By far the biggest Maritimo, the new flagship actually measures almost 25 metres, with every centimetre dripping in luxury appointments and state-of-the art technology. The flybridge alone is the size of a respectable cruiser and features every amenity you can imagine. But only when unleased do you realise the 73 is built of action, not show. Designed with an advanced variable deadrise hull, engines and fuel tanks over the centre of buoyancy, and a miniscule shaft angle of just 9 degrees, the 73 cruises at 26 knots with effortless poise and balance.Add to that all the signature features that have made Maritimo famous and you'll see why the world of long-range luxury motoryachts had a new benchmark.
