The South Australian Sea Rescue Squadron are a volunteer Marine Rescue Centre serving the Boating public around South Australia.Base's reside in the Adelaide Metro area, Wirrina, Edithburg and Copper Coast.Sea Patrol's are carried out on Weekends and Public holidays unless weather conditions restrict them. Marine radio base stations are scattered throughout the state and keep a listening watch on all of the marine radio emergency channels.

When should distress beacon batteries be replaced?
Distress beacon batteries will need to be checked for replaced prior to the replacement date shown on the expiry label.Having your beacon battery changed will ensre that in the event that the beacon is activated it will continue to function for the maximum period of time.
Return your beacon to the manufacturer or retail agent for replacement.
